During Pregnancy, Use Fashion To Avoid Being Frumpy

It’s still the case that humans want to keep propagating the species, thank goodness. But what humans — especially the women who have done all the work to get the species propagated — quickly find out is that pregnancy can turn a beautifully clothed female into a frump if she’s not careful. Being pregnant doesn’t mean you have to be frumpy, though, because high style is still possible, fortunately.

Consider maternity wear and what it used to mean when a woman was ’sentenced’ to wearing it. One-week, she’s in Christian Dior and the next she’s busily pawing through potato sacks and ashcloth, that’s how bad clothing for women who are pregnant once was. Nowadays, it’s very possible to sport top designer names while carrying a future Nobel prize winner around, though.

Women and pregnancy have a long history with each other. Some may say that it’s far longer than just about anything else related to humans, especially when it comes to the affection a woman loses for the man who got her that way at one point or another during the pregnancy. So it’s up to guys to help support those women or they’re in danger of imminent doom when the hormones start rumbling.

One way to help a woman deal with the fact that her most treasured clothing will have to be put away for a while, and maybe even forever because she became pregnant, is to get her out the door into the shopping mall. At the least, it can be humble gesture on the part of the guy who’s put her in this predicament and it also can help save him from that fabled beating he so richly deserves.

So then; find out just how much she’s been wanting that very expensive pair of leather brown boots and then worked like a beast of burden to get the money to get them for her. Of course, realize that at least 400 or so shoe stores are going to need to be visited, but go with her in the spirit of humble contrition that will be required because she’s been put in her position by men.

Maybe finding something like a good-looking leather watch strap to go along with those very Bohemian-like boots will help get a man back on the ‘A’ list from which he was rudely erased after refusing to go for yet another gallon of strawberry ice cream and lox the week before last. Men should think tactically when it comes to women, pregnancy and clothing or fashion, not that they are really capable of doing so.

There’s really no great and obscure secret to a man helping his lady get through her pregnancy and the thought of possibly becoming frumpy because of it. Bow down before her — especially in gratitude that she’s agreed to become so pregnant — and admit to her that her wisdom is without compare and all should be right in the universe, once that doghouse has been cleaned out, of course.
