Is This Really Happening?
Is your partner working late? Do you notice the amount of company functions that your partner has gone to without you? Are they going out with their “friends” more than normal? These signs could mean your partner is doing more than working, they are cheating.
Some Common Signs of Cheating
Is money missing? Something is probabley going on if you notice that they don’t let you see bills, locks them in files, shreds them, or tells you the amount to be paid on them. Their attitude begins to change? Most often, they don’t want to be around their family, and their money seems more important.
You feel avoided. They begin to seem annoyed with working and with your own kids. They become lazy and secretive. They get defensive when you ask them about affairs that things of that nature. Their daily routine begins to change and there are suspicious items, like gift cards and actual gifts. They begin to become protective of items like their cell phone, and PDA. There could be unknown numbers or photos on these items. Are they coming home late and smelling like alcohol.
There are other signs of cheating like picking fights and stomping out of the house, forgetting to wear their wedding ring, refusing to go shopping with you, and requesting that you go see your family alone. Your partner will smell different, and care more about what they look like than they normally have. They work long hours; work on weekends or days off. They don’t answer their phone when you call, ever. They use their phone more than normal, and receive messages at crazy times.
The partner may start to accuse you of cheating. Your partner may be less interested in sex. They may be figuring out your schedule constantly, so they can have their affair work out.
All in all, you need to listen to what your gut says, even if you still love them. You may get hurt more if you don’t.
