Modern Day Romance

Does romance still exist in this era of technology and rapid development?  Is there still time for people to have romantic relationships and can women still find romance in their lives?

With the hectic pace of and stresses of modern day living it is difficult to notice romantic relationships taking place, but look around carefully when away from the hustle and bustle of day to day life and you  will see that romance is still alive and well and functioning as well as it always has throughout the ages.

It may be harder to notice but couples still hold hands when walking together and still gaze lovingly into each others eyes when alone together. While long courtships are a thing of the past the notion that romance is dead is nonsensical. The only difference being that you have to be in the right sort of environment to observe that romance is still alive and well. Take a walk when on holiday at the coast along any beachfront on a hot summer’s day and notice how many couples are walking along together holding hands.

With the technological era upon us couples these days often have a romantic destination of their own where they can get away and be together and enjoy a romantic time alone with each other.

Today with the varied methods of communication available via computer technology and other means, more often then not romantic feelings between couples for each other are transmitted via e mail. Social networking sites can often lead to romance between individuals although one should be very wary of these. It is thus not easy for someone to notice where romantic activity takes place any more.

Of course the days of sending gifts and letters by post to your loved one are in most instances a thing of the past and romantic gifts between couples these days are more then likely in many instances to have been purchased online by the party concerned. The romance is there and continues to be there but it is done in a much more discreet manner.  As a consequence thereof many people are not even aware of a romantic relationship between people that they know, as things are not made as public or apparent as they were in times gone by.

There are many romantic gifts which can be purchased online for partners involved in a romantic situation. These range from personalized cards to calendars with inscriptions of endearment on them to the one you love. One can even purchase personalized bottles of champagne for your romantic interest online.

Romance is not dead it is just more cleverly concealed and private then it used to be.

Quite frankly, I believe that many people are simply not well-suited for the demands of a modern-day romance. Not only have we set our expectations as high as possible, but many people have personality characteristics which make it.
