Reasons You Got Dumped

Several of my women friends ask me why men dump women.  I decided that this was in reality quite an interesting question.  You’ll notice other women complain quite often about all the explanations why they out of the blue end up alone.  But I decided to search just a little deeper and get the answer straight from the horse’s mouth, so to speak.  I went and asked Brian, one of my especially close guy friends, who I can trust to be extremely straightforward with me.

Allow me to share his top 3 reasons why men breakup with women.  I think you’ll find these very intriguing.

You Are Too Needy — Brian said that plenty of the women he has dated are just too clingy.  They can’t stand being away from their boyfriend for even a minute.  They want to go grocery shopping with him, go to the bank with him, and go to the laundromat with him.  It appears as though they never give him a minute of free time.  Brian claims that one of the main reasons why men dump girls is because we don’t give our men enough space.

You will need to realize that when a man tells you he needs “space,” it means something totally different than when a woman says she wants space.  Guys are extremely career- and goal-oriented and occasionally require time by themselves or with their guy buddies to get things completed.  If you think back to caveman days, this is quite like him going out to hunt for food.  Guys just possess a normal need to sometimes be alone or with a few other guys, so don’t be clingy and give him the room he desires every now and then.  It seriously isn’t something to concern yourself with, and you’ll learn that he comes back to you later feeling recharged and fired up to be with you.

The Dude Isn’t As Committed As You — Us women often find ourselves thinking about walking down the wedding aisle and deciding the names of our 2.5 kids far earlier than men.  Another one of Brian’s reasons why guys dump women is that they hurry into discussing these topics with their boyfriends too soon. When you do this, you may likely chase him off.  Is he just simply immature and frightened of responsibility?  Its possible.  But more often than not he simply just doesn’t think that your relationship has a good enough foundation to justify taking things to “that level” just yet.  When do you bring it up then?  This really varies according to the relationship and what the two of you have been through with each other.

You Don’t Have Your personal Dreams — If everything in your life revolves around your man, you will usually see him rapidly losing interest in you.  Brian explained about a fairly creepy experience he had with one of his ex-girlfriends.  She shared with Brian about a dream she had and said, “I dreamed that both of us melted together into one human being and I never had to do anything whatsoever or think for myself again.  It was marvelous.”  No big surprise they’re not together these days.

This is an extreme case in point, but seriously women, men still prefer us to be independent and unique.  You are just likely to bore your boyfriend into dumping you if all you do is go shopping at Target and watch television.  Men like girls that have their purpose and aspirations.  Work for that promotion at the office.  Finish that novel you have always wanted to write.  Pull out those paint brushes and create your new work of art.  Don’t just stagnate and let your imagination atrophy.

So I hope you have a better grasp now about why guys breakup with girls.  It’s possible you can also notice some mistakes you have made prior till now.  The idea is to learn your lesson and improve so that you don’t repeat the past in your coming relationships.  By changing even something tiny, you could possibly see that your ex-boyfriend may possibly suddenly be interested in you again too.
