It’s never good to generalize about things in life. Sure, it can be said that there are a lot of online scams and fake ‘business opportunities’ out there disguising themselves as marketing programs or guides to ‘instant wealth.’ But to say that all online business opportunities are scams or don’t work is just a harsh generalization that isn’t deserved. There are plenty of great ways to make money online if you know where to find them. You just have to work a little bit and be committed to your goals.

Can you make money with the Wealthy Affiliate University? In case you are not up to speed, Wealthy Affiliate is a website which claims to teach people how to make money using internet marketing techniques.
Well, Wealthy Affiliate on its own will not help you succeed at all, because it is impossible to work totally within the University, even though that is something which is pushed on the sales page. The whole place is structured (education wise) around something called the 8 Week Action Plan, which is important for new members. It goes through internet marketing, not really in depth, but still enough to give someone like me (limited knowledge of the subject) to knowing quite a bit, not just about internet marketing, but about advertising in the real world.
So when it comes to you making money with Wealthy Affiliate, prepare to be disappointed. Unfortunately the stats show that the average stay at the University is around half a year. We can put this down to two things: Either Wealthy Affiliate isn’t doing what it should be doing, helping members to create an online income, or that the members that quit aren’t doing enough to help themselves and create their income streams.
* Rewards- What kind of reward are you looking to receive for the time you spend? Cash is obviously the best reward, however a lot of these sites use gift vouchers as redeemable rewards and these are almost as good as cash. The thing to look out for here is sites that offer ’sweepstakes’ or ‘monthly draws’ as rewards, these don’t offer high returns and you could very well go your whole new ‘career’ without receiving any rewards from these sites.
